Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing channel partners, and leading a sales team across the region. The role involves developing market presence, achieving revenue targets, and strengthening relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, and interior designers within the laminates segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive sales operations for the assigned territory.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in the laminates segment.
- Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor and dealer networks.
- Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and key influencers.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and control of outstanding receivables.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
- Execute promotional activities, product launches, and branding initiatives in the region.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical standards.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidate should have 8–10 years of relevant sales experience in laminates or allied building materials, with at least 3–4 years in a team handling role. Must be well-versed with the market and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
