Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, based in Maharashtra, India. The Area Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales performance within the designated territory, manage and develop a team of sales representatives, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing market trends, preparing sales reports, and developing strategies to increase market penetration and achieve revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development: Strong skills and experience in field sales, lead generation, and closing deals in B2C or B2B environments.
- Team Leadership: Capability to recruit, manage, and motivate sales teams to achieve targets and maintain high performance.
- Analytical and Planning Skills: Proficient in data analysis, market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to achieve goals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Experience in developing relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in crafting presentations, negotiating deals, and delivering impactful client pitches.
- Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of solar energy solutions, renewable energy systems, or related technical domains is an advantage.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the region: Knowledge of the local market and the ability to network effectively within Maharashtra.
