Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Area Sales Manager at Tranquil. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building long-term relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, and channel partners. Daily activities include prospecting, conducting virtual and in-person sales meetings (as applicable), presenting product solutions, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms in line with company guidelines. The role involves coordinating closely with internal teams such as marketing, technical support, and operations to ensure timely project support, pricing accuracy, and on-time deliveries. The Area Sales Manager will also be expected to analyze market trends, track competitor activity, maintain an accurate sales pipeline, and provide regular reporting and forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in building materials, interior solutions, construction, or related industries.
- Strong skills in territory management, lead generation, and relationship-building with architects, designers, contractors, and distributors.
- Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into value-based solutions for customers.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to track performance and forecast revenue.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as business needs require (where applicable).
