Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Osmanabad. This role is responsible for driving sales growth for musical instruments and sound technology products within the assigned territory, including managing dealer networks, institutional clients, and new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with schools, universities, music academies, and bands to understand their needs, presenting product solutions, negotiating agreements, and closing sales. The Area Sales Manager will monitor market trends, prepare sales forecasts and reports, coordinate promotional activities and workshops, and ensure strong brand visibility in the region. The role also involves maintaining long-term customer relationships, resolving issues promptly, and collaborating closely with internal teams for timely deliveries, after-sales support, and local marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, preferably in musical instruments, audio equipment, or related consumer products.
- Strong relationship management and client servicing abilities, with experience handling institutional and dealer networks.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and local languages.
- Solid understanding of territory management, sales planning, and basic data analysis for tracking performance.
- Interest in music, sound technology, or performing arts, with the ability to understand product features and benefits.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within the assigned area, and manage field visits and customer meetings independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; relevant sales experience may substitute in some cases.
- Proficiency with standard office and CRM tools for reporting, documentation, and pipeline management.
