Role Description
The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. The role entails managing and driving sales performance within the assigned territory, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with channel partners and clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Area Sales Manager will also lead, mentor, and support the sales team, overseeing their productivity and professional development to drive the overall success of the region.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and strategic planning skills, with a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Experience in relationship building and client management, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction
- Leadership and team management skills to guide and support the sales team
- Proficiency in market research and identifying new business opportunities
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and partners
- Professional experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and results-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Chennai
