Area Sales Manager – Apparel / Athleisure Channel Sales
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager from the apparel/activewear/athleisure industry with strong expertise in distributor handling and channel development.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing distributors, driving primary and secondary sales, expanding dealer networks, and developing market presence across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow distributor/dealer network in the assigned territory
- Drive primary and secondary sales targets
- Appoint new distributors and strengthen channel expansion
- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Coordinate with merchandising and operations teams for stock availability
- Conduct market visits and support distributor sales teams
- Increase brand visibility and market penetration
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance updates

Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in apparel channel sales
- Strong distributor handling and channel development experience

- Strong market execution skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
