Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Panchkula. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with distributors and clients, identifying new market opportunities, and achieving regional sales targets. Other day-to-day tasks include leading and mentoring sales teams, preparing sales reports, analyzing market trends, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Collaboration with the marketing and technical teams for product promotion and technical support will also be required.
Qualifications
- Experience and expertise in sales, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry, protected cultivation, or relevant agricultural products
- Strong skills in team leadership, mentoring, and performance management
- Proficiency in market trend analysis and development of sales strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in an on-site environment and travel within the assigned regions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, business, marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in the agricultural sector or B2B sales is an advantage
