Job Summary: -
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive
institutional sales and business development for Study’n’Learn’s EdTech
solutions across the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for
generating leads, managing client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and
expanding the company’s presence in schools, colleges, and educational
institutions.
Key Responsibilities: -
● Lead generation through existing clients, references, distributors, and new business
networks.
● Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through sales and business development
activities.
● Develop and execute proposals, presentations, and business plans for new opportunities.
● Identify
prospective schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and institutional clients
through campaigns and field activities.
● Meet principals, directors, trustees, and decision-makers for product demonstrations
and presentations.
● Coordinate with the inside sales and support teams for lead management and closure
activities.
● Follow up regularly with clients to ensure smooth product delivery and service
experience.
● Handle client concerns related to products and services while ensuring long-term
relationship management and retention.
● Maintain and update customer databases, sales reports, and CRM records for effective
sales process flow.
● Build and manage channel partners, distributors, and dealer networks in the assigned
territory.
● Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to increase
market penetration.
Skills & Competencies: -
● Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
● Ability to handle institutional and B2B sales independently.
● Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills.
●Target-driven approach with strong follow-up and closing ability.
● Knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, and sales reporting.
● Capability to manage field sales activities and territory expansion.
Qualifications & Experience:-
● Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
● 3–8 years of experience in Area Sales, B2B Sales, Institutional Sales, or EdTech Sales.
● Prior experience in selling smart classroom solutions, Interactive Flat Panels, or
educational products will be preferred.
● Experience in handling school sales, dealer management, and territory sales is an added
advantage.
