Role Description
We are hiring an Area Sales Manager for our Vadodara location. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities in your assigned region. You will conduct market research, provide product demonstrations, prepare proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets. The role also entails maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring timely follow-ups for after-sales support.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in sales, business development, and client acquisition
- Strong product knowledge in scientific research equipment and areas such as photovoltaics, spectroscopy, or nanoscience
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Analytical skills for market research and strategic planning
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets
- Prior experience in a similar role in the scientific or technical equipment industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is an advantage
