Role Description
The Area Sales Manager will oversee and expand the company's market presence in the assigned territories, driving sales and strengthening client relationships. Responsibilities include identifying and reaching out to potential customers, managing a portfolio of existing clients, achieving sales targets, and providing support to ensure customer satisfaction. Additional duties involve market research, preparing sales reports, and strategic planning. This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Sales, Business Development, and Market Acquisition
- Proven ability in Client Relationship Management and Customer Service
- Knowledge in Market Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Sales Forecasting
- Effective Communication, Negotiation, and Problem-Solving skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with renewable energy products or the solar industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the solar industry
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and market expansion
