Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, based in Siliguri. The Area Sales Manager will oversee regional sales operations, develop and implement sales strategies, and work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a team of sales representatives, building relationships with distributors and retailers, analyzing sales performance, and identifying new opportunities for growth. Additionally, the role involves setting goals, monitoring market trends, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales Management, including team leadership and achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of Regional Market Trends and Distributor Network management.
- Effective Communication, Relationship-Building, and Negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills, Sales Forecasting, and Data-Driven Decision Making.
- Proven capability in Strategic Planning and Execution in sales operations.
- Self-motivated, Results-Oriented, and able to work effectively on-site in Siliguri.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the FMCG sector is must, preference will be given to candidates from Agarbatti industry.
- Maximum CTC will be Rs 5.5 Lacs
