Position Overview:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Tricity is responsible for managing and overseeing sales operations across multiple branches (typically 5–6) within a designated region. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring operational compliance, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and supporting branch teams. This position requires regular travel and on-site branch visits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Target Management
- Oversee sales operations across assigned branches.
- Ensure monthly sales targets (GT & PT) are met or exceeded.
- Analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.
2. Team Management & Development
- Train, mentor, and motivate branch managers, floor managers, and sales teams.
- Monitor team performance and implement corrective measures as required.
- Conduct audits to ensure operational and compliance standards are maintained.
3. Marketing & Promotions
- Plan, approve, and execute monthly offers and promotions in coordination with branch owners.
- Support digital campaigns and local marketing initiatives for assigned branches.
4. Operational Compliance & Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding Freezing, Transfer, Upgrade, Refunds, All Access, and Pro Passport.
- Collect and review customer feedback; implement corrective actions to enhance service quality.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit weekly sales reports, monthly reimbursement sheets, and maintain updated travel plans.
- Coordinate with HR, operations, and digital teams to support branch requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in sales management or multi-branch operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to analyse sales data, create reports, and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital tools.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across branches.
Work Hours:
- Minimum 9 working hours per day.
- Weekly travel plans must be updated and adhered to.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to Regional Sales Manager / AVP as per the company hierarchy.
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with extensive travel to multiple branches within the assigned region.
