Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Bengaluru. The Area Sales Manager will oversee regional sales operations, build and nurture relationships with clients, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. Responsibilities include managing and expanding the distributor network, leading and motivating the sales team, monitoring market trends, and strategizing to increase market share. The role also involves preparing sales reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sales Strategy, Business Development, and Client Relationship Management
- Leadership and Team Management abilities to guide and motivate sales teams
- Strong Analytical and Data Interpretation skills for market and sales analysis
- Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
- Knowledge of the tissue or FMCG industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven, on-site work environment
- Relevant Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent qualifications preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region as needed
