Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Surendranagar. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the company’s irrigation products and solutions. The role also includes managing sales distributors, regularly interacting with farmers, and supporting the broader sales team to expand the company’s market reach.
Qualifications
• Education: BSc/B.Tech Agri (preferably in MBA in Agribusiness,).
• Minimum 7-9 years of hands-on experience in sales, with a proven track record in or irrigation product sales.
• Demonstrated capability to independently handle ongoing projects and secure new projects through client relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of drip irrigation systems, water management, and related materials.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for project costing, budgeting, progress reporting, and invoicing.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions via email, WhatsApp, and site visits; preference for candidates familiar with Telangana/Andhra Pradesh markets.
• Ability to travel minimum of 15 days for site supervision and motivate field teams
• Strong ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Adaptable to change and capable of working under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Passion for sales and business development in the agriculture domain.
