Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for the position of Area Sales Manager. The candidate will be responsible for managing and driving sales in the assigned territory, achieving monthly and annual sales targets, developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and executing sales strategies to maximize brand presence. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, monitoring market trends, ensuring timely supply chain management, and mentoring and training the sales team to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales Management, Business Development, and Distribution Networks
- Strong skills in Team Leadership, Communication, and Relationship Management
- Ability to analyze Market Trends, strategize effectively, and drive targeted outcomes
- Proficiency in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
- Experience in the FMCG or dairy industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
