About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive business growth for our Doors & Windows division. The role involves managing channel sales, developing dealer/distributor networks, handling project sales, and ensuring market penetration within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building materials, architectural hardware, fenestration, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales growth for Doors & Windows products within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
- Identify new business opportunities through dealers, distributors, architects, builders, fabricators, and contractors.
- Increase market penetration and brand visibility in the region.
Channel & Dealer Management
- Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and ensure business continuity.
- Conduct regular market visits and dealer engagement activities.
- Support channel partners with product training and business development initiatives.
Project Sales & Specification
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, builders, and interior designers for product approvals and specifications.
- Track ongoing and upcoming projects to generate leads and closures.
- Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations, and negotiations.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Share market feedback and customer insights with internal teams.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, customer service, and finance for smooth order execution.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates on a regular basis.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in sales within Doors & Windows, Building Materials, Architectural Hardware, Glass, Aluminium Systems, Fenestration, or related industries.
- Strong network with dealers, fabricators, architects, and builders preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
