Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, located in Hazaribag. The Area Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales operations within the designated territory, manage relationships with retail partners, and identify new business opportunities. Responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, analyzing market trends, mentoring a sales team if applicable, and ensuring excellent customer relationships. Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure product availability and support brand objectives at the local level.
Qualifications
- Proven sales expertise and a successful track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends, prepare forecasts, and develop strategic plans
- Experience in managing a sales team and mentoring team members
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the tiles or construction material industry is preferred
- Familiarity with the local market and customer base is an advantage
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
