Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy Area Sales Manager (ASM) to build and scale our offline distribution network. This is a core revenue-driving role focused on distributor onboarding, retail expansion, and strong on-ground execution.
What You’ll Do
🔹 Build Distribution Network
- Appoint and activate distributors across assigned territories
- Establish a scalable and efficient distribution structure
🔹 Expand Retail Reach
- Increase active retail outlets and market coverage
- Drive product availability across towns and key markets
🔹 Drive Sales Performance
- Own primary and secondary sales targets
- Ensure strong offtake and market movement
🔹 Ensure Market Health
- Maintain Secondary/Primary ratio ≥ 85%
- Manage inventory and avoid stock issues
🔹 Execute in Market
- Ensure visibility, branding, and merchandising compliance
- Run trade schemes and market activations
🔹 Lead Field Team
- Manage RSOs / Sales Officers
- Drive productivity, coverage, and performance
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8 years of experience in offline sales/distribution
- Background in Consumer Durables / FMCG / Electronics preferred
- Strong experience in distributor management and territory expansion
- Proven ability to drive sales targets and manage field teams
- Willingness to travel extensively
