Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Area Sales Manager. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, identifying new business opportunities, and building lasting relationships with healthcare providers and institutions. The role involves promoting MedGenome’s diagnostics solutions, monitoring market trends, managing a sales team, and ensuring exceptional client support. The Area Sales Manager will report on sales performance, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to overall growth by aligning efforts with company goals.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in sales, business development, and client relationship management
- Strong understanding of genetic testing, genomics solutions, and their applications in healthcare
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Team leadership experience, including training, mentoring, and performance monitoring of sales teams
- Ability to analyze and interpret market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies
- Experience in the healthcare, biotech, or diagnostics industry is highly valued
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Willingness to travel within the region to engage with clients and stakeholders
