Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Guntur East. The Area Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales operations within the assigned territory, ensuring sales targets and growth objectives are met or exceeded. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team of sales representatives, developing strategic action plans, maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and monitoring market trends to identify and capitalize on opportunities. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving high standards of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management and the ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team to achieve targets.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and key therapy areas, such as respiratory, cardiovascular, and anti-infective.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills for engaging with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt plans to maximize opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales management software.
- Educational qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field. MBA will be a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
