Role Description
This is a full-time and remote role for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory. Daily tasks include managing client relationships, achieving sales targets, providing product demonstrations, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with the internal team to deliver tailored irrigation solutions. The role also includes market analysis and the implementation of sales strategies to expand the customer base and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Sales skills with experience in territory management, client acquisition, and customer relationship management
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of agriculture, irrigation systems, or agronomy is highly desirable
- Experience in market research, data analysis, and developing sales strategies
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related field; equivalent experience in sales or agriculture is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with CRM software
