Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, based in Nasik. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, develop strong relationships with channel partners, and implement strategies to meet sales objectives. Core responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, managing a sales team, ensuring market penetration, and handling product promotions. Regular market analysis and reporting are integral components of this role to drive growth in the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, including expertise in market analysis, business development, and territory management
- Strong leadership abilities, with skills in team management and dealer/distributor relationship development
- Knowledge of paint or building materials industries; prior experience in similar industries is an advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in using sales and reporting tools; familiarity with CRM software is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; an MBA is preferred but not mandatory
