Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Kochi. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations in the designated area, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The role also involves market research and monitoring competitor activities to drive business growth. Collaboration with the marketing and operations teams to align sales initiatives is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including experience in setting and achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in client relationship management, negotiation, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Strong market research and analytical skills, with knowledge of competitive analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team, demonstrating problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven experience in the paints and coatings industry is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
