Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in New Delhi. The primary responsibilities include overseeing sales operations in the designated area, managing and expanding the dealer network, meeting sales targets, and fostering relationships with clients. The role encompasses market analysis, planning and implementing sales strategies, monitoring competitor activity, and collaborating with the marketing team to execute promotional activities. Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will be expected to provide support to dealers, ensure customer satisfaction, and identify growth opportunities in the market.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales Management, Account Management, and developing business strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Market Analysis and knowledge of market trends in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Ability to manage dealer networks and build long-term customer relationships.
- Time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or heavy machinery industry is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
