Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Location: Jharkhand

Job Purpose:

To drive business growth and manage sales operations for Business Loans and Personal Loans across Jharkhand by leading a team, expanding DSA/channel network, and ensuring achievement of disbursement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

• Drive sourcing of Business Loans & Personal Loans through DSAs, connectors, and direct channels

• Achieve monthly/quarterly disbursement targets

• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration in Jharkhand


2. Channel Management (DSA/Connector Network)

• Recruit, onboard, and activate new DSAs and channel partners

• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners

• Ensure productivity and quality sourcing from all partners


3. Team Management

• Hire, train, and manage Sales Executives/Relationship Managers

• Set performance targets and monitor daily activities

• Motivate team to achieve business goals


4. Credit & Process Coordination

• Coordinate with credit and operations team for faster file processing

• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company policies

• Maintain portfolio quality and reduce delinquency


5. Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activities, pricing, and schemes

• Provide feedback to management for product improvement

• Identify high-potential locations within Jharkhand


6. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales reports

• Track pipeline, login-to-disbursement ratio

• Ensure data accuracy in CRM systems



Key Requirements:

• Experience: 3–7 years in Business Loan / Personal Loan sales

• Preferred Background: NBFC / Banking / Fintech

• Strong network of DSAs in Jharkhand is highly preferred

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets

• Leadership & Team Handling

• Strong Sales & Negotiation Skills

• Channel Development Expertise

• Market Knowledge of Jharkhand region

• Good communication & relationship management



Education:

• Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory)



KPIs (Performance Metrics):

• Disbursement volume

• Number of active DSAs

• Login-to-disbursement ratio

• Portfolio quality (NPAs)

• Team productivity



Additional Notes:

• Candidate should be open to travel across Jharkhand

• Local market understanding is a must.
