Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced *Area Sales Manager* to drive business growth within the SME Banking segment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business loan sales, team management, and market development. This role involves leading a sales team, expanding the customer base, and achieving business targets through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
* Drive sales of Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), and Term Loan products.
* Generate business through open market sourcing and client acquisition.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
* Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
* Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
* Resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales performance and business growth.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* MBA or CA qualification will be an added advantage.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in selling Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), and Term Loan products.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a sales team.
* Strong understanding of SME banking products and financial services.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Requirements
* Valid driving license.
* Own a two-wheeler for business travel.
