Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Chennai. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales efforts within the assigned region, developing and nurturing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Daily tasks include devising strategies to meet sales targets, preparing sales forecasts, leading sales presentations, conducting market research, and managing sales team activities to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and providing superior service to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in business development and client relationship management
- Proficiency in market analysis, identifying new opportunities, and developing sales strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of CRM tools and data-driven decision-making
- Prior experience in the parking systems industry, infrastructure solutions, or related fields is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an added advantage
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and travel as required for business needs
