Role Description
As an Area Sales Manager, you will oversee and drive sales within the Bhopal territory in an on-site, full-time role. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing distributor and retailer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring proper execution of sales strategies and marketing plans. You will collaborate with internal teams for sales analysis, monitor market trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth. Leading and motivating your sales team, as well as ensuring proper training and support for achieving desired outcomes, will be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales and Business Development, including achieving targets and cultivating relationships with distributors and retailers
- Strong knowledge and skills in Market Analysis, Competitor Research, and Strategy Development
- Experience in managing and mentoring Sales Teams, including setting goals and monitoring performance
- Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Problem-Solving skills
- Ability to adapt to competitive markets and proven skills in developing customer management strategies
- Familiarity with consumer healthcare and FMCG industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
