Role Summary
We are looking for a
highly execution-focused Area Sales Manager to drive aggressive sales growth, build a strong distributor network, and lead on-ground expansion across rural markets. This is a
pure field role with high travel and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary & secondary sales and achieve assigned targets
- Build and scale a strong distributor & dealer network
- Ensure deep rural market penetration & outlet expansion
- Maintain stock availability, liquidation & secondary movement
- Lead on-ground execution, beat planning & daily sales tracking
- Identify locations and drive dark store setup & performance
- Execute local promotions, farmer meetings & demand generation
- Track competition, pricing, and market intelligence
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hunter mindset with proven sales track record
- Experience in FMCG / Agri-input / Rural distribution / Cattle Feed
- Ability to open markets, appoint distributors & scale business
- Comfortable with 70–80% travelling (mandatory)
- Hands-on, street-smart, and execution-driven personality
