Role Description
This on-site, full-time role as an Area Sales Manager is based in Chennai. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, fostering customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in assigned territories. Responsibilities include market analysis, customer outreach, providing product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams to address customer needs and deliver tailored solutions for industrial vacuum systems.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development skills, including client acquisition, prospecting, and lead generation
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
- Knowledge of vacuum pump systems, compressors, and related products; technical aptitude is a plus
- Strategic thinking, market analysis, and ability to identify growth opportunities
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations
- 3-5 years of Experience in relevant industries such as packaging, food processing, medical, or environmental sectors is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Proactive and self-driven with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
