Role Title - Area Manager, Crucible & NFF, North
Sub-Function - Sales
Location - Ghaziabad
Specific Experience / Qualifications required:
Graduate Engineering, preferred PG in Sales/Mktg. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Selling Industrial consumables or Business Development (Experience of Selling crucibles is preferred)
Role Purpose:
To drive profitable growth within the Crucible segment and deliver targeted sales, gross margins, trade debtor by contributing to and leading the implementation of the Value selling.
The segment is a mix of Indirect and Direct mainly served through Indirect Channel and the region covered is: North & East India Territory - Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal, West Bengal, Orissa, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh
Roles and Responsibilities
-Ensure exponential and sustainable growth of sales for Crucibles & NFF segment (North).
-Drive profitable sales growth within the Crucible & NFF segment and deliver targeted sales, gross margins, trade debtors. (Accountable for ensuring that the Sales, Collection and DSO targets are met and exceeded.)
-Identify opportunities through sales leads and new market developments for rapid and sustainable growth in Crucibles & NFF segment.
-Maintain relationships with current clients and Indirect Channel Partners and identify new prospects within the region.
-Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs to develop aggressive strategic sales plans for Crucibles & NFF.
·-Proactively develop techno-commercial programs and schemes for aggressive customer acquisition.
-Explore potential market gaps to be acquired by Vesuvius so as to grow rapidly and follow them through to a concrete top line development.
-Provide valuable market insights and feedback to facilitate informed product development and marketing strategies.
-Collaborate with indirect channel partners to identify and ensure that market and product gaps are met and fulfilled promptly.
-Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on corporate and local competitors.
-Identify the needs for stakeholder educations and engagements and lead the events with the help of SM Crucibles & NFF and BM.
-Participate proactively in the company’s Safety, health and Environmental policies and systems.
