Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh for the role of Area Sales Manager. The role involves overseeing and managing sales activities in the designated region, building strong relationships with retail partners, and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, training and motivating the sales team, monitoring market trends, and generating comprehensive sales reports to guide decision-making. Collaboration with marketing teams to align sales initiatives is also required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, account management, and business development within the cosmetics or retail sector
- Skills in market analysis, strategic planning, and sales forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage client and team relationships effectively
- Leadership and team management skills to mentor and motivate the sales team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, on-site environment
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Knowledge of the cosmetics or beauty industry is highly desirable
