Role Description
To drive dealer-led and multi-brand outlet (MBO) expansion for the Acer Cycles & E-Cycle vertical by appointing, developing, and managing an effective dealer network, achieving volume, revenue, and market penetration targets across assigned territories.
Role - Area Sales Manager
Industry Exp - Mandatory – Bicycles Industry
Location - Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi
Key Responsibilities
- Appoint, onboard, and scale multi-brand bicycle / EV dealers in assigned territory
- Drive primary & secondary sales across conventional cycles and e-cycles
- Execute dealer expansion plans, territory mapping, and beat planning
- Ensure visibility, merchandising, and in-store execution at MBOs
- Work closely with service, logistics, and finance teams for smooth operations
- Monitor market intelligence: pricing, competitor activity, and consumer trends
- Achieve monthly / quarterly sales, revenue, and outlet activation targets
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns
Candidate Profile (Must-Have)
Experience:
- 5–10 years in Bicycle / EV / Mobility / Auto-adjacent industries
- Strong exposure to channel sales & dealer network management
Industry Background:
- EV two-wheelers / E-cycles
- Bicycle brands
- Mobility, fitness, or auto aftermarket (relevant channel-driven roles)
- Proven experience in distribution-led expansion, not only key accounts
Skills & Competencies
- Dealer acquisition & relationship management
- Channel expansion & territory development
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Hands-on execution mindset (field-oriented role)
- Data-driven sales planning & reporting
- High ownership and startup/scale-up adaptability
Education
- Graduate (MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred but not mandatory)
