Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall sales performance, dealer network expansion, and service quality across the assigned territory to drive electric vehicle adoption and increase regional market share.
- Identify high-potential markets and expand the dealer network by appointing, onboarding, and activating new EV dealerships and authorised service partners to strengthen the company’s retail and service footprint.
- Accelerate retail sales growth through strong dealer engagement, test-drive initiatives, and hyperlocal demand generation activities to consistently achieve aggressive sales targets.
- Track and improve dealer performance metrics, including retail conversion, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and dealership profitability, through regular performance reviews and operational support.
- Ensure high after-sales service standards across dealerships by monitoring service turnaround time, warranty compliance, and effective customer complaint resolution to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate with dealer workshops to ensure service infrastructure readiness, technician capability development, spare parts availability, and service capacity enhancement across the territory.
- Promote EV adoption in the region through localised marketing campaigns, fleet partnerships, test drive events, and customer education initiatives focused on EV benefits and charging ecosystem awareness.
- Lead and guide field sales teams and dealer staff, while continuously tracking sales funnel metrics, service performance indicators, market trends, and competitor activities to optimise territory performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile Engineering, or related field.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Operations is an added advantage for leadership roles.
- 4 - 7 years of experience in Sales, Dealer Development, or Business Development in the Automobile / EV / Two-Wheeler industry.
- Proven experience in territory management, dealer network expansion, and retail sales growth.
- Prior experience in the EV industry, batteries, or the charging ecosystem will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling multi-dealer operations and regional sales teams.
- Strong exposure to market development, channel sales, and B2B fleet sales.
