Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will oversee and manage sales operations within an assigned territory, build and maintain relationships with retailers and distributors, and identify opportunities for market expansion. Additional responsibilities include achieving sales targets, providing training and product knowledge to retail partners, and analyzing sales data to develop strategies for business growth. The role also involves collaboration with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, and Business Development
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of market analysis, trend spotting, and competitive intelligence
- Ability to strategize and implement sales plans to meet and exceed targets
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in the building materials, construction, or sanitary industry is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
