Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in West Bengal, India. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales in the assigned territory, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include training and leading a sales team, executing sales strategies, conducting market analysis, and identifying opportunities for growth. The role also involves ensuring optimal product availability and excellent customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, with experience in setting and achieving sales targets
- Team leadership and training skills to oversee and manage a sales team
- Customer relationship management and client servicing experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct market research and identify potential growth opportunities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is an advantage
- Experience in D2C, FMCG, or personal care industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
