Role Description
This full-time on-site position, based in Golaghat, is for an Area Sales Manager at Bandhan Bank. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team to achieve sales targets by developing and implementing regional sales strategies. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and monitoring market trends to enhance the bank’s regional presence. Additionally, the manager will oversee team performance, provide support in achieving goals, and ensure compliance with all banking regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, business development, and client relationship management in the banking or financial sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including coaching and performance evaluation capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer and team relationships.
- Analytical and strategic planning abilities with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Sound understanding of banking products, services, and market trends, particularly in semi-urban and rural sectors.
- Proficiency in using technology and banking tools for sales and client management is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within the banking sector is preferred.
