Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Bangalore. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and conducting market analysis. The role involves managing the sales process, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support. The individual will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement marketing strategies and ensure accurate reporting of sales activities.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in client relationship management and negotiation skills
- More than 3 years of sales & marketing experience in the life science industry.
- Knowledge of molecular biology products and biotechnology solutions, including DNA/RNA extraction kits and RT-PCR assays
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related discipline
- Prior experience in sales or account management within the biotechnology or diagnostics industry is preferred
