Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in the Pune Division. The Area Sales Manager will oversee and manage sales operations within the assigned territory, develop and maintain relationships with clients, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. The role involves planning and executing sales strategies, identifying business opportunities, training and mentoring the sales team, and providing market insights to improve performance. Collaboration with internal teams and proactive issue resolution are essential aspects of the position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales Strategy Development, Market Analysis, and Business Planning
- Strong skills in Client Relationship Management and Effective Negotiation
- Ability to Lead Teams, Mentor Sales Staff, and Drive Results
- Excellent Communication and Presentation abilities
- Competency in Reporting and Analyzing Sales Data
- Experience with the pet food or FMCG industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Willingness to travel within the Pune Division to meet clients and oversee operations
