Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Gujarat. The Area Sales Manager will drive sales and business growth by identifying and developing new clients, managing existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Additional responsibilities include conducting market research, organizing sales pitches and presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. The Area Sales Manager will represent APPC’s innovative solutions to prospective and current clients while aligning sales strategies with company goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in sales, business development, and client relationship management
- Knowledge of agricultural technology, protected cultivation, and farming solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and strategize effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Relevant experience in the agricultural or agribusiness sector is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English and local regional languages is highly advantageous
