Role Overview
AE Connect is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Area Sales Manager / Channel Sales Manager who is an impressive storyteller and a passionate sales professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving channel sales, strengthening partner relationships, and expanding market presence across assigned territories. This role demands strategic thinking, strong execution capabilities, and hands-on involvement in business development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Design, develop, and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s customer base and strengthen its footprint in the assigned region.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective channel management and market penetration strategies.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from planning, execution, monitoring, and performance evaluation.
Channel & Partner Management
- Build, nurture, and manage strong, long-term relationships with channel partners, system integrators, distributors, and resellers.
- Work closely with partners to understand their business needs, challenges, and growth plans.
- Conduct regular partner meetings, product trainings, and joint sales activities to maximize engagement and revenue.
Market Development & Intelligence
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and potential customers within the territory.
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and new product launches.
- Provide timely market feedback to the management team for strategic decision-making.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, revenue updates, expense statements, and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and closures using internal reporting systems.
Communication & Representation
- Communicate, present, and influence effectively with internal teams, channel partners, and customers at all organizational levels.
- Represent AE Connect professionally at client meetings, partner events, and industry forums.
Skills & Competencies
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- High-level proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High levels of passion, drive, and competitive spirit
- Strong sense of professionalism, ownership, and accountability
Qualification & Experience
- Education: Any Graduate
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in Channel Sales / B2B Sales, preferably in networking, IT hardware, telecom, or related industries
Additional Requirements
- Must own a two-wheeler for local travel within the assigned city/territory
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region as per business needs

- Salary: Up to ₹8,00,000 per annum (CTC), based on experience and performance
