Overview:
As Area Sales Manager at Adison Equipment Company, your role encompasses a range of responsibilities that contribute directly to the company's growth, market presence, and customer satisfaction.
Job Dimensions: -
- • Geographic Scope: Driving sales within a designated geographical area. This includes building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in the defined region.
- • Sales Strategy and Execution: Ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan will directly impact the company's sales performance.
- • Customer Engagement: Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients. Understanding their requirements, offering tailored solutions, and delivering compelling sales presentations for essential components of building strong customer relationships.
- • New Business Development: Efforts in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities contributing to expanding the company's customer base. Prospecting, networking, and actively seeking ways to penetrate untapped markets.
- • Product Knowledge and Expertise: Developing a deep understanding of Adison Equipment Company's products is crucial. Ability to communicate their value propositions and address client inquiries will influence customer decision-making.
- • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer engagement.
- • Performance Reporting: Providing regular and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
- • Travel: The role involves frequent travel within the assigned area to meet clients, attend industry events, and conduct business meetings.
- • Report to the National Sales Manager
Key Responsibility Areas:
- • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
- • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.
- • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
- • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings effectively.
- • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- • Sales Reporting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to management.
- • Other duties: may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly manages a rep network.
Knowledge, Skills, abilities & other requirements
Should Be A Graduate, Additional Qualification in sales and marketing will be preferred, should have expertise in surgical consumable selling
- • Positive attitude.
- • Demonstrate a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitments and professionalism.
- • General understanding of Medial Device Market, Medical Simulation & Digital library business.
- • Minimum 2-3 years of sales, marketing or other commercial business experience.
- • Strong relationship building skills.
- • Excellent time management, communication, Customer services, and interpersonal skills.
- • Excellent people, communication (written and verbal), negotiation and facilitation skills.
- • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
