Role Description
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for leading all sales efforts within their designated territory to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, and achieving sales targets. The ASM will also collaborate with cross-functional teams for client engagement and provide market insights to identify trends. This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi, requiring the candidate to manage customer interactions and develop strategies to enhance revenue streams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market trends and prioritize opportunities
- Experience in technical sales, particularly with fire safety or engineering products, is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals while coordinating effectively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
