Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Area Sales Manager specializing in Hearing Aids and Audiological Equipment. The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement effective sales strategies that maximize revenue and market share within the designated area. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, audiologists, and distributors, while ensuring that our products meet the needs of patients and practitioners alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and enhance market penetration.
- Identify and engage prospective clients, including audiologists, ENT specialists, and healthcare providers.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of hearing aids and audiological equipment.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform product positioning and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients and sales representatives to ensure product knowledge and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Prepare and present sales reports to upper management, highlighting progress toward goals and areas for improvement.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Strong understanding of audiological equipment and hearing aid technology.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and compliance.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Audiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, specifically in the medical devices sector.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated area.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated success in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling medical devices or medical equipment, particularly in the hearing aids space.
- Strong knowledge of ENT practices and audiology professionals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong client relationships.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
