Job Role & Responsibilities
- Accountable for 100% achievement of pre‑defined business objectives in the assigned territory, driving both primary and secondary sales.
- Ensure effective visibility merchandising, including paid and unpaid visibility initiatives.
- Develop and support business growth in the assigned territory by identifying, appointing, and nurturing distributors.
- Conduct territory mapping to optimize coverage and improve market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Execute company‑driven displays, promotional schemes, and generate productive outlet business (POB).
- Track and report competitor activities, including new schemes, product launches, and market movements.
- Drive operational excellence through accurate display claim processes (preparation and submission) and timely sales reporting.
- Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained at both retailer and distributor levels to support sales targets.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS / STAKEHOLDERS
External
- Retailers and Stockists/Distributors to drive sales execution, visibility, and stock availability.
Internal (other Than Direct Reports)
- Cross‑functional teams, Co‑workers, Reporting Manager, Area Office (AO), and other business divisions to ensure alignment on objectives, schemes, and operational excellence.
Educational Qualifications
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum graduate degree in any discipline.
Experience
- 3 to 7 years of relevant sales experience in the OTC / FMCG industry.
Functional & Technical Skills
- Strong geographical and local market knowledge.
- Proven selling, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
- Ability to execute sales plans effectively and achieve territory targets.
