AREA MANAGER – OPERATIONS (MUMBAI)
Function: Operations
Reports to: City Head – Operations
Location: Mumbai (On-ground across allocated outlets)
Level: Mid-Senior (6–8 years experience)
ROLE PURPOSE
Own and drive operational performance across an assigned cluster of outlets within Mumbai, ensuring strong execution, team discipline, customer experience, and outlet profitability.
The Area Manager will act as the key operational bridge between Store Managers and central leadership, ensuring consistency in standards, accountability, and operational execution across the cluster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and oversee daily operations across assigned outlets within the city network.
• Drive outlet-level performance across sales, food cost, labour cost, hygiene, customer experience, and operational discipline.
• Lead, guide, and develop Store Managers and outlet teams.
• Ensure strict implementation of SOPs, audit systems, operational checklists, and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular outlet visits, operational reviews, and performance discussions with Store Managers.
• Ensure manpower planning, roster management, attendance discipline, and smooth shift operations across outlets.
• Support new outlet openings, team training, onboarding, and operational stabilization.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, QA, HR, and Growth teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
• Ensure proper usage and data accuracy across Petpooja, Keka, audit trackers, and operational systems.
• Identify operational gaps proactively and drive corrective action plans.
MUST HAVE
• 6–8 years of experience in QSR / F&B / hospitality operations.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience handling multiple outlets as an Area Manager or equivalent role.
• Strong operational understanding of outlet management, manpower handling, and customer service.
• Experience managing Store Managers and large on-ground teams.
• Hands-on operational approach with strong field presence.
• Good understanding of cost control, outlet profitability, and operational reporting.
• Comfortable working with operational systems and reporting tools.
GOOD TO HAVE
• Experience in QSR or cloud kitchen formats.
• Exposure to outlet launches and operational setup.
• Experience handling aggregator-heavy business operations.
• Strong team-building and training capability.

• Cluster sales growth and outlet performance.
• Food cost %, labour cost %, and operational efficiency.
• Outlet audit scores and hygiene compliance.
• Customer ratings and complaint resolution.
• Store Manager retention and team stability.
