Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager for an on-site, full-time role based in Gurugram. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensure delivery targets are met, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities include team management, monitoring performance metrics, maintaining client relationships, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. The Area Operations Manager will also work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver optimized solutions and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, logistics management, and team supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of process optimization
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in logistics and transportation
- Proficiency in operational software and tools is an advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the logistics, e-commerce, or transportation sector is a plus
- Adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills and a results-oriented mindset
