Job Summary:
Vacancy for Area Manager - (Ahmedabad HQ & Surat HQ) for Pharmaceutical Marketing Company based in Changodar, Ahmedabad - Gujarat.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of Medical Representatives (MRs)
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory
- Developing strategies to increase product awareness and market share
- Ensuring doctor coverage, chemist visits, and retail push as per company policy
- Monitoring team performance and conducting regular fieldwork
- Training, motivating, and mentoring field staff
- Ensuring effective implementation of company promotional strategies
- Reporting daily/weekly updates to Regional Manager
Key Requirements:
- Strong pharma sales background
- Proven leadership and team-handling experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of territory and local market
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and disciplined
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years as an Area Manager in Pharma Company.
