Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Manager, located in Chennai. The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving business growth for the assigned region, managing a team, and collaborating with branch managers and business partners. The tasks include developing and implementing business strategies, achieving sales targets, ensuring operational efficiency, and building strong and lasting client relationships. The individual will also be accountable for monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for business expansion.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in managing teams across multiple locations.
- Proven expertise in sales and business development, including the ability to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in market analysis, customer acquisition strategies, and business planning.
- Solid knowledge of financial products and services, with preference for experience in broking, wealth management, or financial services industries.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and analytics tools to monitor performance and market trends.
- Demonstration of ethical practices and ability to adapt to evolving market demands.
- Prior on-site management experience in Chennai or familiarity with the regional market is advantageous.
