Job Title: Area Manager
Job Summary
The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales and distribution operations within a designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong managerial skills to drive sales growth, manage distributor relationships, and lead a team to achieve business objectives in the OTC sector. Mix experience of both General trade and OTC trade required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
- Manage and support a team of sales representatives to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee distributor management and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
- Monitor primary and secondary sales to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8-16 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record in area sales management and business development.
- Strong understanding of channel sales management and OTC sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
